This event was conducted under the directions and guidance of Principal Dr Mehal Singh who motivated the students to instil in their minds the importance of gender equality for the upliftment of the society. The event was organised in the school by  Mr. Sukhjinder Singh (Principal)  and Ms. Satwant Kaur.

Dr. Sawraj Kaur, Nodal Officer (female) of Gender Champions Club welcomed the audience and addressed the students  that a nation needs to value every gender equally to progress at the right place. A society attains better development in all aspects when both genders are entitled to similar opportunities. Equal rights in decision making, health, politics, infrastructure, profession, etc will surely advance our society to a new level.. Nowadays, girls are equally competing with boys in school. They are also creating landmark development in their respective profession.  It gives them the confidence to stand against oppression and make better decisions for themselves.

Dr Parminder Singh, Nodal Officer (male) of the Gender Champions club proposed a vote of thanks and highlighted that in order to remove this inequality, people need to cut the deep rooted values imbibed by the society. He emphasized  that the club organises such events to acquaint the students with  the understanding of equality of gender, and expose and redress issues of discrimination of women in the workplace.
