NSS ACTIVITIES DURING THE SESSION 2015-16

Khalsa College Amritsar is running four NSS units of 100 volunteers each, which are being Co-ordinated by:

• Dr. Jasjit Kaur Randhawa (NSS Incharge)
• Dr. Zorawar Singh (NSS Programme Officer)
• Dr. Sandeep Singh (NSS Programme Officer)
• Dr. Poonam Sharma (NSS Programme Officer)

• 4^th August, 2015- More than 50 NSS volunteers donated blood at Blood Donation Camp at Pingalwara.
• 27^th August, 2015- A one day seminar was organized on Women Health. The keynote speaker on the occasion was Dr. Surat Kaur.
• 1^st February, 2016- One day seminar was organized on “Depression among Youth” by Ms. Sana Iqbal from Hyderabad.
• 23^rd February to 29^th February, 2016- 7 Day NSS Camp was organized on college campus in which more than 60 students participated.
• 23^rd February to 27^th February, 2016- A 5 Day Blood Testing Camp was organized in the college campus. More than 1200 students participated in the camp and got their blood checked.
• 25^th February, 2016- 1 Day Blood Donation Camp was organized on in the college campus where more than 125 students donated blood.
