P.G. Department of Zoology organized 30^th District LevelChildren Science Congress on December 12, 2022 on the theme “Understanding Ecosystem for Health and Well-being” in collaboration with District Education Officer, Secondary Education, Amritsar. The event was catalyzed and supported by Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Chandigarh and Department of science and Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Students from 25 schools from Amritsar district participated in the event and presented their posters on the sub-themes: Know your Ecosystem, fostering health, nutrition and well-being, Social and cultural practices for ecosystem & health, Ecosystem based approach for self-reliance. The children from age-groups 10-14 years participated in junior group and children from age-group 14-17 years participated in senior group. The District Education officer, Amritsar and Principal Khalsa College Amritsar awarded the winners with certificates and trophies.
