A seminar on Project Development and Viva Preparation organised by Computer Science Department

Tech-Era Computer Society of Khalsa College, Amritsar organized a seminar on “Project Development and Viva Preparation”. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Sandeep Sood, Senior Programmer, center for IT solutions, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Principal Dr. Mehal Singh and Prof. Harbhajan Singh, Head P.G. Department of Computer Science and Applications welcomed Mr. Sandeep Sood by giving him a living plant. Dr. Mehal Singh appreciated the efforts of Computer Science department for organizing this seminar for the students. He said this seminar will provide practical knowledge regarding project training which is a crucial part of their course.

In the seminar Mr. Sandeep Sood explained in detail different types of applications like desktop application, web application and mobile application.He also discussed various front-end/back-end tools used in developing applications and role of security measures in web applications.

Prof. Harbhajan Singh, Convener Tech-Era Computer Society delivered a vote of thanks to the resource person. Dr. Rupinder Singh Co-Convener Tech-Era Computer Society played a vital role in coordinating this seminar.  Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur, Dr. Mani Arora, Dr. Anureet Kaur, Prof. Kulbir Kaur, Prof. Rajwant Kaur and other staff members were present there.
