Tech-Era Computer Society of Khalsa College Amritsar organized workshop on “Project Development”. The workshop was delivered by Mr. Sandeep Sood, Senior Programmer, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Dean academic affairs Dr. Taminder Bhatia and Prof. Harbhajan Singh, Head and convener of Tech Era Computer Society, P.G. Department of Computer Science and Applications welcomed Mr. Sandeep Sood by giving him a living plant. Dr. Taminder Bhatia appreciated the efforts of Computer Science department for organizing this workshop for the students which will be beneficial for them for project development in final semester of their graduation. The purpose of this workshop was to aware the students about the four major activities performed during the project development.

In the workshop Mr. Sandeep Sood talked about the Project development, Project report, Presentation and Viva preparation. He explained the students about the different kinds of desktop, web and mobile applications which are popular these days. He also discussed various kinds of project development languages like PHP, ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python etc.

Dr. Mani Arora, Co-convener Tech-Era Computer Society gave a vote of thanks to the delegate and played a vital role in coordinating this workshop. Prof. Simranjeet Kaur, Prof. Kulbir Kaur and Prof. Vishal Gupta assisted in conducting the workshop. During the workshop, Dr. Anureet Kaur, Prof. Sonali Tuli and other staff members were also present there.
