Tech-Era Computer Society of Khalsa College, Amritsar organized a one-day seminar  “Navigating IT Horizons: Exploring Career Trajectories and Opportunities”on 27^th October, 2023 in P.G. Department of Computer Science and Applications. Principal Dr. Mehal Singh, Dr. Harbhajan Singh Head P.G. Department of Computer Science and Applications, Co-coordinator Tech-Era Society Dr. Mani Arora welcomed the Guest of Honor, Ms. Arpana Grover and Mr. Sudhir Grover, Directors of “INFOMATHS STUDIES PVT LTD.” Chandigarh  by giving them a living plant and memento. Principal Dr. Mehal Singh praised the computer science department on holding such an awareness seminar, which will provide useful guidance to students at various stages of their education.Dr. Harbhajan Singh encouraged the students to attend such seminars since they would assist them to explore new career opportunities and prepare them for the future. Ms. Arpana Grover mentioned the awareness about career opportunities in various companies like Arcesium, Amdocs, Google, Microsoft, etc. that offers handsome salary packages. She said that the path to IT companies is through selection in high value universities such as IITs, NITs etc. and discussed the MCA entrance tests like NIMCET, CUET, PU, and MAHCET. Mr. Sudhir Grover, Maths Faculty, Infomaths studies pvt ltd. discussed about how can simple maths tricks and tips can be helpful in cracking bank and government exams. Dr. Harbhajan Singh gave a vote of thanks to the delegates. Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur, Prof. Prabhjot Kaur, Dr. Anureet Kaur and other staff members of computer science department were present in the seminar.
