Comm-Fest Explore-2019 organised at Khalsa College Amritsar

The PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration of Khalsa College Amritsar organized Comm-Fest on March 30, 2019.This event was inaugurated byDr. Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh,Inspector General Of Police, IPS(Punjab Cadre). He addressed the students by saying that we all should abide by the principles laid down in the Shabad “Deh Shiva VarMohee, Shubh karman te kabhun na daro.” He motivatedthe students to study in India and also to serve India rather than going abroad and also enthused the students to go for IAS and IPS .Dr. H.S Bhalla, Deputy Director Colleges, Punjab and Chandigarh (Guest of Honour) who inspired the youth to be honest and dedicated towards your country, Mr. ArvinderBhatti(Celebrity Artist in Punjabi Industry), Mrs. JyotiBawa (CEO,PunjabSamwadOrganisation), Mrs. RajwantBajwa, Mr.DevDard(Renowned Writer), Mr. N.S.Bhalla, S.Balbir Singh. The Principal cherished the efforts of the department for this initiative and addressed participants that such event provides a stimulating environment for all round development of the students and to enhance their cognitive skills . He inspired the students by saying that once you step into any task , then get so involved in it to take it to the heights and in turn, it will take you at the same heights. ThisComm-Fest has been planned and executed under the supervision of Dr. Mehal Singh (Principal), Dr. J.S. Arora (Head and Dean, Commerce) and Dr. AanchalArora (Convenor). It was informed by Dr. J.S.Arora
(Organising Secretary),Dr.AanchalArora (Convenor cum Cultural Secretary) and Dr. Rachhpal Singh (Co-Convenor)that the purpose of EXPLORE 2K19was to provide a platform to the students to refurnish themselves in the bright shining colors of Khalsa College and it brought with itself , a constellation of talents , plethora of events and miraculous minds . It was a One-day long celebration of potential talent and skills of the youth wherein enthusiastic youngsters from all over the Punjab came and participated.During this extravaganza, several festivities organized that displayed creeping freakishness of hysterical
and unprecedentedvigour. It witnessed a footfall of participation of more than 120students from the almost 25 different colleges of Punjab.In this mega event, the various activities like Photography, PPT, Painting and Landscaping, Slogan Writing, Poetical Symposium, Rangoli, Folk Song, Skit, Group Dance and Ethnic Ramp Walk were performed. D.A.V College, Amritsar was the overall winner of this festival and received its Overall Champion Trophy and Hindu College, Amritsar won First Runner Up Trophy.
