The P.G. Department of Commerce & Business Administration, Khalsa College Amritsar organized the Orientation Session for all the first year students on 23.08.2023

The P.G. Department of Commerce & Business Administration, Khalsa College Amritsar organized the Orientation Session for all the first year students (both UG & PG). This event was planned and executed under the supervision of Dr. Mehal Singh, Principal and Dr. A..K.  Kahlon (Head & Dean). The main object of conducting this orientation session was students interaction and to sensitize the students about the rules and regulations of Khalsa College. Dr. Sawraj Kaur, Associate Professor welcomed all the first year students to the college and they were sensitized about the rules, regulations of the college. She addressed the students and made them aware about the acadaemic and infrastructure facilities available in the college such as Sri Gurudwara Sahib, main library of the college, Department Library, Department Computer Lab, Commerce Lab and Commerce Society of Students where they can learn organizing skills. The college will likely offer the opportunity to learn more about extracurricular, clubs, organizations, jobs, and sports available on campus.

This is also a great opportunity for the students to get to know some of their classmates and Batchmates. They may even make lifelong friends during the orientation or find someone who would be a great Batchmate. The students have got a chance to meet the faculty and staff members. Also, there was informational sessions on campus safety, anti-ragging, technology, academic resources, student support services, and clubs.

On this occasion Dr Deepak Devgan, Dr. Poonam Sharma, Dr. Ajay Sehgal, Dr. Rachhpal Singh, Dr. Nidhi Sabharwal, Prof. Meenu Chopra, Prof. Puja Puri, Dr. Amarbir Singh Bhalla,  Prof. Amanjot Kaur, Dr. Mandeep Kaur, Prof. Tushar Batra, Prof. Sheetal Gupta, and Dr. Harpreet Kaur Thind were present.
