The Post-Graduate Department of Commerce and Business Administration, Khalsa College Amritsar organized one day workshop on “Multiple Regression Analysis through SPSS” for the Post Graduate students on 25^th October, 2024 at 10:30 AM. The workshop was planned and executed under the supervision of Dr. A.K. Kahlon (Workshop Chairperson) and Dr. Poonam Sharma (Workshop Coordinator). The Resource Person of this Programme was Dr. Manjinder Kaur, Assistant Professor, GNDU College, Chungh, Tarn-Taran.

Dr. A. K Kahlon (Principal, Head and Dean) emphasized the importance of such events in enhancing students’ practical knowledge and their role in promoting educational skills. Dr. Sawraj Kaur extended the floral welcome to the resource person and encouraged students to keep participating in such events that contribute to their academic development.

Dr. Poonam Sharma introduced the distinguished guest and highlighted the primary objectives of the workshop which is to help students align their practical knowledge regarding the use of SPSS.

Dr. Manjinder Kaur (Resource Person) addressed the students regarding the main aspects of multiple linear regressions with practical examples and explored some strategies to build robust regression models using SPSS software. Moreover, she gave knowledge about various assumptions of regression model as well as its applicability in real life-based examples.

Dr. Nidhi Sabharwal conducted the stage and delivered vote of thanks. Around 85 students actively participated in the workshop. Prof. Meenu Chopra, Dr. Harpreet Kaur Mehrok and Dr. Navpreet Kulaar took over the charge of media and publicity of the event.

Dr. Sawraj Kaur, Dr. Deepak Devgan and Dr. Ajay Sehgal were also present in this event.
