PG Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Khalsa College Amritsar organized a one day guest lecture on the occasion of World Photography day

PG Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Khalsa College Amritsar organized a one day guest lecture on the occasion of World Photography day .Mr Karamveer Sandhu, professional photographer from Jalandhar was the Chief Guest on this occasion.
Speaking on this event Vice Principal Dr Taminder Bhatia said that the aim of this event was to help amateurs students to learn the technicalities involved in the field of photography. He also told the students about the achievements of chief guest and said that Mr  Karamveer Sandhu is well known name in  Photography Industry.
During the event Dr Sania Marwaha Incharge of the department said that the main aim of the celebrating this World Photography Day was to familiarize the students with the growing importance of photography and to give them practical exposure about digital journalism.
While addressing the lecture Mr  Karamveer Sandhu told the students that Photography is the art of capturing the right emotions at the right time. He also acquainted the students about practical skills required to become professional photographer. He also explained students about importance of perspective, lighting, filters and lenses used in photography and different modes of digital photography.
