P.G. Department of Agriculture won awards at Millet Mahotsav at GNDU, Amritsar on 5th September, 2023.

The students of B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture Sem-VII (ELM-427) Food Processing Rajbir Singh and Komalpreet Kaur were awarded first and Second position in Millet recipe competition and poster competition on the occasion of MilletMahotsav at GNDU Amritsar on September 5, 2023. The Millet Mahotsav was organized by department of Food Processing, Punjab in collaboration with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Govt. of India through Punjab Agro Industries Co-operation (PAIC). This event was inaugurated by S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development Board and Food Processing Minister. Overall, 26 students from PG Department of Agriculture and over  by700 participants attended this event including farmers, millet growers and processor, PMFME beneficiaries, academia, government officials, bankers, food processing industries association, agri-enterprises, food sciences and technologies students of different institutions, millet research institutions.
