Amritsar. March 30, 2022. The Post Graduate Dept. of English of the historic Khalsa College organized One Day Theatre Workshop on “All the World’s a Stage All the Men and Women merely Players”. Prof. Emmanual Singh, a distinguished Director and Professor of Theatre Stuies, Khalsa College, Amritsar graced the occasion as a resource person, while Dr. Mehal Singh, The Principal of the College presided.

The event commenced with the recitation of college Shabad. The Guest was welcomed and introduced by Prof. Anupam Sandhu (The Head of the Department). Dr. Mehal Singh emphasized on the need to appreciate literature and theatre. Prof. Emmanual Singh illustrated the methods to critically read, appreciate and perform the plays. He also appraised the students about the evolution and historical development of the Theatre. The students of B.A. Honors English and M.A. English benefited to the occasion.

Prof. Malkinder Singh presented the Vote of Thanks, Prof. Supninderjit Kaur, Prof. Parneet Dhillon, Dr. Sawant Singh Manto, Prof. Malkinder Singh, Prof. Daljeet Singh, Dr. Mamta Mahendru, Prof. Vijay Bernard. Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Prof. Pooja Kalia, Prof. Gurpreet Singh, Prof. Harsh Salaria, Prof. Saurav Megh, Prof. Markas and other faculty members were present on this occasion.
