On 18th February 2023, an alumni meet was held at the Department of Chemistry, Khalsa College Amritsar. The event started at 10:30 AM with a welcome speech by the Head of the Department, Dr. BK Randhawa, who formally welcomed the guests.

 Dr. Amit Anand, a senior faculty member of the department, gave a brief overview of the Chemistry department and its achievements in the past year. He highlighted the research projects undertaken by the faculty members and the students and the various seminars and workshops that were conducted in the department.

The chief guest of the event was Dr. Balwinder Kaur Basra, a renowned scientist and alumni of the department. She shared her experiences and memories of her time in the department and spoke about how the knowledge and skills she acquired at Khalsa College helped her in her professional career. Dr. Basra also encouraged the current faculty members to work hard and pursue their dreams with dedication and determination.
