Interaction for postgraduate students in chemistry by alumini of Khalsa college on 8 febraury 2024

Dr. Meena Sharma, Senior Vice President, Stokes Therapeutics, USA. was an alumna of the department in the 1994-96 batch. Interaction was organized by Duncliff society of PG Department of Chemistry , Khalsa college in junior gallery at 12 pm. The talk was arranged by Dr. Navalpreet kaur , the organizer  of the society. A welcome address was given by Dr. Amit HOD, department of chemistry. The retired faculty Dr. Gandhi, Dr. Batra and Dr. Pushkarna, who taught the alumina were also invited.

Dr. Meena Sharma, Senior Vice President, Stokes Therapeutics, USA. was an alumna of the department in the 1994-96 batch. She interacted with current students and benefitted the students through their mentorship, networking opportunities, career advice and support in various aspects of their academic and professional journey. She offered insights into their own experiences, share knowledge about research work, industry trends and provide guidance on career path.

Dr. Sharma's journey from Khalsa College to becoming a senior vice president at a leading biotechnology company is truly inspirational. Her determination and hard work are a testament to the importance of education and its ability to transform lives.The session was informative and motivating for all those who attended.
