Event Organised on 9 feb. 2024: Invited talk on applications of ionic liquid towards preparation of photocatically active nanomaterials and ionic gels

An invited  talk by  Dr. Tejwant Singh  Kang , Associate professor , chemistry , GNDU

The event was organized by Duncliff society of PG department of Chemistry in the seminar hall of Khalsa college at 11am.The principal had given him a floral welcome.Dr.Amit  HOD of Chemistry department gave welcome address to the guest.

Dr.Tejwant shared his life journey and explained the importance of hardwork and consitancy  to achieve the goals .He told the students the process of putting in hardworkinstills the quality such as discipline, resilience ,preservence and determination .

The title of talk wasapplications of ionic liquid towards preparation of photocatically activenanomaterials and ionic gels. He discussed  about  molecular self assembly, ionic liquids, behaviour of proteins in aqueous solution and nanostructured materials using ionic liquids and ion gel.

Dr.Tejwant is quite active in research field besides academic. Through his presentation,he introduced the new scientific terms to the graduation and postgraduation students in chemistry. He discussed about his research work.

A valedictory function was held at the end of seminar. HOD chemistry thanked all the delegates,
Professors and students for their valuable cooperation in making this seminar a grand success.
