The Teacher’s Day celebration at Khalsa College, Amritsar was organised by Dunnicliff Society with great fervour and enthusiasm. It was held to honour the contributions of teachers and commemorate the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a revered philosopher and educator

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by the Head of the Department, Prof. Amit Anand. He emphasized the importance of Teacher’s Day and acknowledged the vital role of teachers in shaping the future of students

The celebration featured a series of engaging activities, including student performances such as a touching choral rendition, a lively dance medley, cultural performances, and a humorous skit about a day in the life of a teacher. The event also included inspiring student speeches and reflective remarks from the teachers. Several students delivered heartfelt speeches expressing their appreciation and sharing personal anecdotes about their teachers. Teachers shared their reflections on the importance of education and their experiences teaching.

The event concluded with a cake cutting ceremony, a group photograph and a vote of thanks by Dr. Kirandeep Kaur.
