It was the British who created different borders in South Asia and, we have to overcome these borders particularly the mental borders. In his lecture Dr. Tirtpathi highlighted how young South Asians can add to the prosperity of the region if we develop better political ties by promoting trade and connectivity. He said that South Asia will remain important for India as India is primarily a South Asian power. He said, it is time to think of socio-cultural South Asia and, this region is historically and culturally interlinked. Students participated in the questions and answer session and asked interesting questions like how and when we can overcome the mental borders?
