Students of English Department Bring laurels to Khalsa College Amritsar

The New Year 2018 brought a sense of pride and Joy for the students of English Department of the historic Khalsa College. Prof. Sukhmeen Bedi, Dean Academic Affairs and Head of the Department apprised that two students Ms. Samandeep Kaur and Ms. Sharman Kaur have cracked the National Eligibility Test required for the appointant of Assistant Professor in India. Both Ms. Samandeep Kaur and Ms. Sharman are pursuing Master of Philosophy in the Department.

Dr. Mehal Singh, the principal congratulated the students and faculty members. He praised the faculty members for their keen interest to empower the students to become capable of achieving employment in this cut throat competition age.

Prof. Sukhmeen Bedi further acquainted that last year Ms. Navdeep Kaur had achieved Junior Research fellowship and Mr. Gurpreet Singh had cleared his National Eligibility Test who has joined the department as Assistant Professor in Grant-in-aid scheme. She congratulated the students and said their success will enthuse other students to work hard.
