Training and Placement Cell of Khalsa College Amritsar organized a 7 Days Placement Training Workshop for the final year students from March 25 to 31, 2023. Dr. Mehal Singh , Principal Khalsa College Amritsar, Prof. Harbhajan Singh Randhawa, Director Training and Placement Cell and Dr. Anureet Kaur, Assistant Director welcomed Ms. Kavita Kahlon with the living plant.

Ms. Kavita Kahlon, an experienced soft skills trainer, during the workshop guided the student abouthow to appear in the interview, communication skills, Personality development, and attire of the students during the interview, Resume preparation and the general etiquettes.  She also conducted group discussion and mock interviews with the students that were very beneficial and boosted the confidence of the students. She discussed about the preferences of multinational companies, Banks and Service Sectors.

The workshop concluded with valedictory session in which certificates were distributed to the students. Principal, Dr. Mehal Singh highlighted that these workshops are crucial part of the academics that helps the students to gain knowledge and expertise which will surely help them in future. Principal Sir appreciated the efforts of Training and Placement Cell for organizing such workshops from time to time which train our student to be creative, innovative and polish their skills needed for the industry. Prof Harbhajan Singh assured the students that such programs will be arranged in future also so that no stone is left unturned in shaping the future of students. Placement Coordinators Dr. Anureet Kaur,Prof Sonali Tuli, Prof  Haryali Dhillon, Prof Rohit Kakaria and Prof Paramvir Kaur assisted in organizing this event under the guidance of Prof Harbhajan Singh.
