INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO KOCHAR BUSINESS PARK

Training and Placement Cell, Khalsa College Amritsar organized an Industrial Visit to Kochar Business Park, a leading player in the Tech Industry on April 12, 2024 for fourth semester students of BCA , BSc(IT) , BVoc (SD) and BSc( AI & Data Science). The purpose of visit was to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to the latest trends of industry keeping them updated with rapidly evolving IT landscape.

Students were given a comprehensive tour of the company's facilities and were briefed on the various projects and initiatives being undertaken by the company. Students also had the opportunity to interact with professionals from the industry and gain insights into the practical applications of theoretical concepts. Such trips help in bridging the gap between academia and industry and provide students with a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain practical experience, which is essential for their future careers. The trip was a huge success, with students returning with a newfound appreciation for the industry and a renewed enthusiasm for their studies.

College Principal Dr. Mehal Singh appreciated the efforts of placement team that periodically arrange such industrial visits which assist the students to gain industry experience. Dr. Harbhajan Singh Randhawa, Director, Training and Placement Cell promised the students to provide them opportunities to learn, grow and get connected with professionals in industry from time to time. Dr. Anureet Kaur , Assistant Director, Training and Placement Cell, Prof. Sonali Tuli and Prof. Rohit Kakaria accompanied the students during the industrial visit.
