The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Khalsa College Amritsar in collaboration with Teaching Learning Centre, Ramanujan College, University of Delhi, New Delhi is organising a one month long Faculty Induction Programme (FIP 12) under Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching programme of Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi. The programme is being conducted from July 19-August 17, 2021 in virtual mode. This programme is meant for the newly recruited teachers in higher educational institutions. Over 1000 teachers pan-India are participating in this one month programme.
The inaugural function was held today in virtual mode via Zoom in which Dr. Prithvi Yadav, Director, Jaipuria Institute, Indore was the Chief Guest. Dr. S.P. Aggarwal, Principal Ramanujan College and Director Teaching Learning Centre welcomed all the esteemed guests and participants to the programme. Dr. Mehal Singh, Principal, Khalsa College Amritsar was the Special Guest on the occasion. While addressing the teacher participants, he emphasized that such programmes empower and encourage the teachers to learn and keep them abreast of the latest developments in their respective fields. He said that the teachers have to perform the multiple roles and in addition to teaching, they have to enlighten and shape the futures of the students who in turn have to shape the future of the country.
On this occasion, Dr. Taminder Singh, Dean Academic Affairs and Director Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Khalsa College Amritsar outlined the different modules of the programme. He said that the programme is designed in such a way that after its completion, the participants will be ready to perform multiple roles.
