Training and Placement Cell of Khalsa College, Amritsar organized a five days Workshop for final year students on “Enhancing Employability Attributes” from Nov 13, 2021 to Nov 17, 2021.
Principal Dr. Mehal Singh, Prof. Harbhajan Singh, Director Training & Placement Cell welcomed Mr. Jatinder Kumar, Manager at IBT and their team with a Living plant. Principal Dr. Mehal Singh,Chief Guest of the workshop emphasized the importance of these workshops as crucial part of the academics. He also told the students that the knowledge gained through this workshop will surely help them in future.
The key facilitator of this five days workshop was Mr.Jatinder Kumar, Manager at IBT. He guided the students on how to enhance the employability skills by explaining each and every step of placement process. The workshop started on Nov 13, 2021 and concluded on Nov 17, 2021. Day one focused on improving the quantitative abilities of the students, followed by day two which helped in enhancing the reasoning ability. Day three focused on sharpening the communication skills of the aspirants followed by day four which provided the knowledge about current affairs. Last day ended up with the mock test conducted for students to check the knowledge gained by them.
The guest of the day, Principal Dr. Mehal Singh distributed the certificates to the participants of the workshop. Principal appreciated the efforts of Training & Placement Cell for organizing this event for the students. Prof. Harbhajan Singh, Director Training and Placement gave a vote of thanks to the Chief Guest for supporting and allowing such workshops for betterment of students. He also thanked the faculty team of IBT with college photograph. Director, Training & Placement Cell, Harbhajan Singhassured the students that these kind of more workshops will be organized in future.Dr. Anureet Kaur, Asst. Director, Placement Coordinator Prof. Ravi Patni, organized this five days workshop and Prof. Guneet Kaur and Prof. Haryali Dhillon also assisted in organizing this event under the guidance of Prof. Harbhajan Singh.
