Training and Placement Cell of Khalsa College Amritsar organized one day Seminar on “Career Guidance & Road Map for Competitive Exams” on 04/09/2019. The Seminar was delivered by Mr. Rajesh CO-MD at ETEN-IBT Group and Mr. Gagandeep Singh Maan, Relationship Manager, IBT Group Amritsar.  Principal Dr. Mehal Singh, Prof. Devender Singh, Registrar, Prof. Harbhajan Singh, Director Training & Placement Cell welcomed Mr. Rajesh by giving them a living plant and appreciated the efforts of Training & Placement Cell for organizing this event for the students. The purpose of the seminar was to prepare students for the IAS/PCS and Govt. Sector Competitive exams by polishing their skills.

Mr. Rajesh guided the students about Success mantra for competitive exams, provided shortcut techniques to solve the mathematical problems within seconds and motivated the students to always be updated with the current affairs and news. Mr. Rajesh discussed with the students regarding the paper pattern and syllabi of IAS and UPSC Civil Services exams. A mock test was conducted to get the knowledge of Civil services exams at the end of the session. Students gained a lot from this seminar and they said that this seminar will really help them in improving their skills.

Prof. Harbhajan Singh Randhawa, Director, Training and Placements gave a vote of Thanks to the delegates. Placement Coordinators Prof. Sukhpuneet Kaur, Prof. Ravi Patni and Prof. Guneet Kaur played vital role in coordinating this event.
